All donations needed by June 1st 2008!
05/04/07-We are currently working with a local facility to lock down a firm date. It will likely be at the end of June. I will keep you all up to date on this.
05/05/07- We are going to be having live music (to be announced) and food at the fair. Also, we are planning on asking for donations of non-perishable food items (for the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission) but will provide more information at a later date. Happy Cinco!
05/07/08- We are currently fighting for the date of July 11th. This would be an ideal date. Please pray that we lock this down ASAP!!!
06/13/08- We are moving the date back! We are now running the sale in the early fall. The snow birds will have returned to the desert and I was advised that we would sell alot more then. We realized that the items in the care packages will contain items that will help the homeless year round. Please continue to pray for the event, but also continue to pray for the homeless. It will reach 111 degrees by Father's Day.
07/19/08- Due to a lack of people interested in hosting said event pro-bono, we will be starting a store for the items on Etsy.com. This will also allow more people, not in the immediate area, to purchase the donations. And will allow it to go for several weeks+. Once I get the domain name up, I will post it.
